Tom's gallery

I have been working with a collage aesthetic for my whole life. I am also interested in having a non-intentional approach to the work. I never use sketches or drawings or mock-ups, I dive right into the work with no set image or concept.
I often work in series, several pieces at a time are in process always. Tension, fragility, and compostion are my main motivations for a work. My work also represents the materials that surround me in the studio. I adore the cast offs of a culture and I work to reintegrate them, provide them with a new context and meaning.
